Continuing the work on Mirror sitting I have completey changed the beginning. It is a continuaion with the work I am doing on background animation. If anything I would say this tutor has a real big influence on how I look at backgrounds. I watched the other day happy feet and the old Disney Hercules, it is interested to see the development but the handdrawn disney are wonderful

Marathon Training - 20/5/2012

Have not really done any training due to my cold, its hit me hard with a facxe full of cold sores. Still Saturday I did a good session even managed to do a little circuit by myself, core.

I was tierd though yesterday and so I did no training at all, just rested, this did me the power of good. I enjoy not going to the gym sometimes, it can get to be like a chore at times. I think tring to find a happy balance is important, even when training for a marathon.

Today I did a three mile run I was pleased with this as I am still not a 100 % and it felt like 26 not 3. Still it was a lovely day for a run , clear blue skies and quite warm. Is this our summer.

Run training log

As I have had a cold, I an recovering very slowly so just did a nimce slow training session, 20 mins on the bike and a little bit of core and balance.

It felt good, I took it easy.

I am not sure what I do tomorrow was suppose to be training with PT I think but he has not contacted me so I guess I will just take it easy again tomorrow.

Been thinking about my training plan for the 2 marathons, looking like Sunday upper body, Monday - Long run, Tuesday, - Lower body , Wednesday and Thursday - rest. Friday short run and stretch.

But we will see this can be flexible.

Marathon training log 15/5/2012

Should I call this a marathon training log, I have done nothing all weekend, really bad cold  and chest.
Its been great to actually stay at home and not train, but I still have a 10 K marathon to ru in Manachester this sunday for the Childrens Rainbow charity, the start up of the long hard work to the  double marathon.


I am looking to put fund raising on line this week.

Marathon training - Run

What a lovely day for a run today, we did 6 miles and I talked all the way, its nice to have someone to run with you.

I know I have got to start upping the miles, but it was a good 6 if not a bit slow. I am slow.

Still the birds where singing, lots of people walking their dogs and the trees look really wonderful with all their fresh green leaves. They got it wrong the weather man.

My friend is hoping to do the Manachester Bupa 10k with me, she is a great friend , great support even thought she tinks I am mad and looked at me when I told her, what on earth has got in too you.

Back in time for a foam roll oh yes mR PT I foam roll now and stretch.

Tomorrow is rest day and back in on Tuesday with Mr PT. I am ready for a PT session I work hard but not as hard as I am going to have too  and having one for upper and one for lower I think works well when training for a marathon, it got me through last time.

Marathon training

Todays was a core interval day, working between doing planks and sits up, with 2 meters versa climber and 5 min intervals on bike x 4. Than balance on the wobble thing and a circuit of balances and cowbell swings designed by my trainer.

It was a good work out but it was a bit embarrasing, properly spelt that wrong I split my new pants, Oh dear I whispered to my friend and left the gym some what quickly, so no stretching.

It can only happen to me, kind of thing.

My friend is going to do the Manchester 10 k with me, I have entered it for the charity Ranibow A childrens charity.
I am running my two back to back marathons for this charity. I think about this challenge and wonder what have I done. My friend just stared at me open mouth. OH was all she said trust you.

So I continue on my way to run these two.

Ran 3 miles this morning really feel good.  It was a nice run, the weather just right.
Charites are talking with me RNLI and Childrens charity, been asked too run the great north Manachester run as well for them.

Going to be possible working on  run animation

I have updated and reworked the Dream, after chatting with Tutor it losed too soon before he ending and did not slowly blend out now it does.

Running Log

To day is rest day, worked on Dolphin animation and E book in college.
training was good yesterday but tough and I think that was partly because I was tierd, 6 days of hard training . You can tell I put the training programme together this week, no rest days.  As always my trainer is right my perforamance was slow due to it being the 6 day and rest.

But now for 2 days rest. My goal now is to run two full marathons back to back for chaity. This will be tough I am not a natural runner, nor built for running. I guess part of the training will be about how quickly I can recover to do the next marathon. Still I have a good trainer.
