Gym Training

Its been a bit of an odd week for training, I was fed up on Tuesday but as Steve says and he was right, my training is Ad hoc due to the children being off and I can not focus or put together a propery training programme. But still I have done well to keep it going.

I want running from home yesterday it was a good 6 mile run and I ran well, but I find I tend not to warm up or stretch off as well as I do when I run from the gym, so today I paid for it with my hip playing up. I was out at 6am in the morning, and I missed the rain hard to do this year you usually get caught. By 7.30 I had showered and finished with exercise for that day. Only 6 more weeks or 5 training weeks until the 10K race.

Spin was a good class I enjoyed it but oh boy did my hip play up and its my own silly fault for not stretching off as well as I do when I run from the gym. I have fun in spin as I tend to go off in my own little world and look up and whilst I am busy peddling along in the rolling hills or down rivacre vally in to Eastham Village the rest of the class have sat back down in to their saddles or in some cases got out of thier saddles.

Carry on with the work my daughter, She is a little girlgrowing up but I think six weeks hol is too long already she is feeling low his week. Sitting on her DS did not really helping as it broke it and buying a new one is not something that can happen at the moment.

Stronger Kelly clarkson Abuse

The girl is free and now she stands on the hill wind blowing, I wanted to show the difference from the girls fear at being beaten yet again by her abusier and her strength now she is free.

Waking in the morning I wanted to show having fun at the breakfast table and than her sleepy in the morning just wakeing up. i want to see Brave this week with my daughter from the trailers I was not looking forward to this. But it is a very good movie, A most for mother and daughter to see together. Its about the relationship between a mother and daughter and what brings them together.

The other point from an Art History point is it takes the idea of Tangled a step forward by Disney the Hero is the Female a strong female gone are the Disney pretty Princess but A real girl. Tangled was the first real girl, but still we had the prince of sorts. Here the Princess id the Protegenist, she holds the story together and it is the Mother and daughter that in the end save the day. The mother and daughter are both strong characters. Its a great story and made daughter cried at the end.

Gym Training

Last weeks training Steve focused on leg strength development, not something we have done since my last ankle injury in March, so oh boy did I have sore legs,  by Wednesday night I was so so stiff, you would think after all the training and leg work stuff we did last year it would be near impossible for me to get stiff but well yes he got my legs.

The weekend was focused on upper body and versa. Tomorrow I hope to run 6 and that gradully build my speed and ability to do 6 ready for the Wirral 10K in 7 weeks time. If I complete that this year it will be an acchievemet considering the year of injuries I have had. Think last year I was running every week on one day at least 18 to 20 miles once a week , now I am struggleing to run 6.

I am looking forward to the paraolympics.

Continue of the domestic abuse animation based on Kelly clarkson music, the girl is pushed down the staires, she climbs back and goes on to do climbing, all sports can give you that improved self esteem that you lose during this type of relation, if it be running, sailing, climbing. I used climbing here as it moves on well from the staires and I do love climbing although have not done much just recently.

Gym training - running

Gym training is going well, but still struggling with the ankle. I was suppose to do a 3 mile run for Nike yesterday but this was a round a track and I am the slowest person to run in the world, when you run around the roads no one knows if you are last but on a track they can see.

Added to this I have only just started running again after suffering injuries this year and so not really up to running against others, so with my friend who also is not in to track running we want for a 5 mile run, that was good and I am glad we did. I want to try to do the wirral 6 miles and that is where I want to put my focus , my training.

I watched Mo running his race on Saturday so amazing, watching the closing ceremony yesterday for the olympics brought tears to the eyes we have some amazing sportspeople and if there is something you can learn from them is that it takes a lot of hard work and determination but you can achieve your dreams. I know even though I am not a sportperson that last year to run the Liverpool full marathon took a lot of work by myself amd my Personal Trainer but I did acchieve that goal.  The hard thing to do is what do you do next when you have been so focused on that goal and than you have done it. This year its been a lot harder as the injuries have prevented any further running in marathons, but we have worked towards new goals. Steve has steered the training towards developing strength and this is working.

This is the story to my daughter, the next part I am working on is the chorus, for this as it speaks of her slipping through my fingures I have continued with the time we want fishing together, we had fun, actually we where awful at it and when the man laughing at us told us if we caught a fisg to kill it by hitting it we where both horrified. We are both animal lovers so the fish want back in to the sea, in fact we are selves caught nothing that day, but we had fun.

Gym Training

The other day I got back up to running 5 miles, I ran the best 5 miles I have done in training for a bit not only did my ankle not play up but I did a good time for me.

Training has gone very well, perhapes I am inspired by the Olypmics I did not think I would be, but I love the Cycling and the rowing, the gymnastics and the runners. Its interesting the way the BBC have set this out as they look in to the training and how much work is done to get to the standarded to be in the Olypmics, the tears, the highs , the lows.

I have in the last week done a very good training week but yesterday in PT I was tierd and my performance dropped, but  even so I worked hard and oh boy do my abs hurt today. So great that it is rest day today. I am hopping that I can finish the year which has been full of injuries with the ability to do a really good 10 k in the Wirral/ Liverpool marathon at the end of this year.

This is a little stroy about a girl whos dolphin comea alive. I enjoyed working on the cat, we have a cat in our road and he is know as the bad cat by the child, he attacks and eat all other animals.
