Marathopn run

Yesterday I had PT on my legs, it was a nice training session, he worked my legs hard, still I was able to do 6 miles today. I enjoyed the run it was a great day and I had a good think One year ago I was over weight a size 30 and my abusive husband throw me and my daughter out.

From that date I have done a university degree I finish this June and
lost weight and ran two marathons, one full. I am currently looking at being unemployed inspite of my degree, and I am fighting to get a job. Rather than being down by this I have decided to put my running to some use.

My idea is with my trainer to run two (maybe three)half marathons backto back and finish with a full Marathon the Liverpool full being the final. I have the marathons and now I am looking for the charity.

Liverpool marathon running log

5 miles today, I was right my friend runs faster than me, thats why it feels harder for me to run with her, out of breath, its good for me to go with her from time to time instead of plodding around at my very dead, slow and stop pace. I do not run or jog but trot. Still as long as my batteries keep going I will I think.

It stopped raining why we ran so that was cool, its been not stop raining.  Than stretch class thats improved from last week. Tomorrow its intervals and core and upperbody.

I watched the two man who complete the Paris marathon than cycle from Paris to Calais, rowed across the channel and than cycle from Dover to  London and finished with the London Marathon, amazing all for charity. This man has cancer I think and does this for charity. So inspiring.

24/4/2012 Running log

Today it was a PT session with my trainer the same man that got me through weight loss and the last marathon. Upper body, quite a bit on shoulders and oh boy did those first exercises kill, I thought by set two there is no way I will do a set three. But  I did, then on to chest and more shoulders my thoughts where but my arms will not raise above my head. THEY DID.

It was a teaching session I didnot realise that we start to burn fat much quicker when doing weights first, than in just pure CV. This was followed by Intervals I am not good on the treadmil but try

The stretch class its a good balance of stretch which I need for my hamstrings at the moment and strength.

23/4/2012 Running LOg for Liverpool Marathon

6 miles completed, I feel good for doing it and pleased I did, my hamstring where pulling a bit but going at a slower pace and I got around.
 My hamstrings need stretching and strengthing, but so I can slowly build the miles up and my fittness.
Fitnness wise is was a good run. Anyway the hamstring issue I hope my trainer has the answer.

Running helps me think, today it was about the disapppointment of another job rejection, the job market is so poor with so many people going for just one job its so hard and I have little Kellie to consider. She is happy today they are doing painting in school and then she has street dance this evening. She is growing up for the first time yesterday she asked her hairdresser to style her hair, this is a change from my little tomboy up a tree can not be bother approach. Although when she got home she joined her friend up their favourite tree. So this afternoon it is work on the E_ BOOK animation for university.

Still no band come forward with a piece of music.

Training done Liverpool Marathon log

Well training done, use Mervin square hips , my balance and plank exercises have improved using this. Started a new exercise on balance, and more new exercises given by trainer. The turning plank is hard to do I look so funny, but by the 3rd set managed to do something that looked right, well it felt right ish. Not sure if I am doing the leg in to stomach whilst in plank right, it just seems so easy. My trainer feels that core should be done as an exercise session in its self and not as part of an upper body or lower body session. Then you can give it a good well , controlled work out. Well after all it is important after training as a dancer I can agree that a soggey center is no good, you whole being and being able to achieve movment is based around a good core.
The gym was busy today , busier than I have seen it for a bit on a Sunday, but found a spot and got on with it. 5 x 200 meters on versa. Treadmil intervals ish I just can not get over my thought that I might fall off.

Feel very good and enjoyed the training, I think my core is getting stronger. My friend said we did well in our run last Friday we can in faster than the other more advanced runners, we made a good time and they ran the same distance 5 miles. I am wondering if that was why I felt so sick, she is faster than me so if we are running faster. Well could be I will see when I go out tomorrow for 6 miles. But that is good news.

Watching the London Marathon, the unsung heros at the back raising money for chairty they are great.
This afternoon I will continue with the work on the Dolphin animation, you can see this on this blog it know has sound to it.
 


Log 22/4/2012

Today is my day for doing interval training my trainer tells me that this is a good way to burn calories and stress the body I think is what he means, surprise it.

I am doing core, planks and have some new exercises to practise, it has always been the way I work with him, learn new exercise and practise then till they are right. Then we move on.

So its core and some circuit work with cowbells and ball dropping and side lunges another circuit I learnt with my trainer with versa inbetween. Versa always kills but I can do 200 meters on it now per interval. about 5 x 200 meters and the great final the interval run .

I am not good on the treadmil, it makes me nervous I can not get over my fear that I am going to fall off. But I keep on trying.  thats only for 10 to 15 mins I hope. Walk for 1 min or 30 sec and then run at 7.0 will try to up this to 7.2 for 1 min to 30 secs. Than I good stretch.

This is my 2nd log for the liverpool marathon training.

In the training up to the Liverpool marathon I have decided to blog about it, well my training.

Last year I lost a lot of weight from a size 30 to a size 12, then trained with my PT for the Liverpool Marathon, yes I did it a full 26.2 miles. I am about to try to this again. I wish the people running the London marathon today good luck it is no more feat.

Today I am resting and working on my animation you can see these on this site, that is my dream to be an animator, but for the moment just to get a job so I can put a roof over my daughters head and food on the table.

Yesterday I ran 5 miles not even half of the 26.2 I will have to do, I am badly out of shape, the stretch class showed this too. I spoke with my trainer you will hear me speak of him often Move- Health or Steve or the boss or just MR PT. He has got me through all my weight loss and marathons and I think he has a job ahead of him, but I guess we will do it. So its rest day today.and work on my Dolphin animation.

I am looking to do a music animation but so far no artist has sent me any music or given me their ideas, funny really as they will get the credits etc. Promotion is the name of the game in both our industries.

 EDITED THE dolphin too slow the boots down so people can see , spent the morning with tutor looking at sound tracks and edited them in to the animation, different tracks for dolphins, guns, sonar , waves.

The Final scenes have been re done, showing the navy boats on exercise firing , chasing the dolphin, I haamended th entrance to the cene sit give  differnt entrance rest of the film, added to this I have the boats chasing the dolphin to the shore, need to re paint the man in uniform, add sound, at the moment I think to give it a feeling of fast and slow some scenes or frames could be slowed down, it runs fast.. The background of the storyline I have used the background scenes and edited the words in to move in slowly.

The Dream

Going on to develop the dream scene 3 she arrives at the beach in her, usin my love of natue. Movment of background, the scenes are linked by the bow and arrow. It is becoming long so has to be pieced together slowly
