This week has been a better week for training, it saw the return of the long and boring heart rate on the treadmil. Treadmil training is so boring, its a time when you sort of people watch, and funny because when you get off the treadmil your legs are wobbley, like being at sea, the floor is suddenly not moving.
It saw the return of pushing that trolly with the weight up and down the gym floor, and it saw the return of the long run.
Tuesday was a great day the weather was lovely and so off I want as I had been ill and this was the first run after that I took it easily the plan just to see how far I could do, not time , no distance in mind. It want well funny how that can happen you never really know how I run will go, breathing fell in to place, the weather was good. so I just kept on going. I good time to think, people often ask me what do long distance runners think about, well you do not think about how far you have to go, if you do that you would never make it. Anything and everything from training plan's agreed with trainer, to what too have for tea, to ideas about animations or finding work.
Towards the end my body started to slow down I am still not a 100 percent, usually its the legs that go, when I get to that stage its the strong upper body that carries you through. The last quater of a mile was really hard it seem to get longer as I got slower.
Still I can saw Ive tick box all the boxes in the training plan this week.
