Cloud Dance
Cloud Dance Whilst off work sick working on the other job and brushing up on sketching from life ready for the log book of the Ben Nevis Climb.
Its in my mind to do Ben Nevis next year which is book and than 2015 the Everest base camp for charity.

Skateboarding

Hadrains wall (No go )
A few people have asked me if I am to do Hadrains wall the answer is no.
Whilst training I have injuired my knee, it was so bad that for several months I have no been able to walk, I am only just starting to walk with support and as my tainer and I have realise it will be a long slow painful recover.
This week I have been able to at last get on a bike and do some mobility work at a low level, yesterday my trainer added some mobility work, but the leg is weak the muscles need strengthing and after yesterdays mobility training the leg ached all night like hell.
My aim is to work to recover, running I am not sure that will ever be on the cards again, but I hope to do some charity walking eventually.

Training Hadrains Wall Log
This week has been a better week for training, it saw the return of the long and boring heart rate on the treadmil. Treadmil training is so boring, its a time when you sort of people watch, and funny because when you get off the treadmil your legs are wobbley, like being at sea, the floor is suddenly not moving.
It saw the return of pushing that trolly with the weight up and down the gym floor, and it saw the return of the long run.
Tuesday was a great day the weather was lovely and so off I want as I had been ill and this was the first run after that I took it easily the plan just to see how far I could do, not time , no distance in mind. It want well funny how that can happen you never really know how I run will go, breathing fell in to place, the weather was good. so I just kept on going. I good time to think, people often ask me what do long distance runners think about, well you do not think about how far you have to go, if you do that you would never make it. Anything and everything from training plan's agreed with trainer, to what too have for tea, to ideas about animations or finding work.
Towards the end my body started to slow down I am still not a 100 percent, usually its the legs that go, when I get to that stage its the strong upper body that carries you through. The last quater of a mile was really hard it seem to get longer as I got slower.
Still I can saw Ive tick box all the boxes in the training plan this week.

Easter Bunny
Training for Hadrains wall Log
3rd week of training or not still recovering from a bad chest. I was given the weekend off to rest, and then back quietly for heart rate training, but this did not really work as I was still trying to get over my chest infection.
The following two days where reduced training days, both by myself and with my trainer. But I am on the way to recover and we mapped out a training plan to get me back to full training and fittnes. A way forward.
The weather too has been against me and so not a lot of runing has been done.

Chanleenge training Hadains wall.
Training not gone so good this week, week 2 first my coach and trainer was very sick and than I want down with a chest infection. Just about slowly getting right and so its sort of low intesity work out. But long distance running is out.

Ultra Hadrains wall run
When I attended this lecture, I was not sure, to run/power walk 96 miles over some of the hardest countryside. no matter how beautiful it is, is not I think for the faint hearted and especially for a woman that until two and a half years ago was a size thirty , with one foot in the grave. But it is for charity Cancer reasearch and my mother that dead from cancer.
Chatting with my trainer he felt we could do it, after all he had seen me complete other challenges such as the wieght loss, half a marathon than the full marathon, so why not.
To start off my diet has been changed not sure I like eggs etc for breakfast , miss my toast but its for mother.
Next a warm up that feels like a training session in its self, I guess I see a few months of sick bucket training heading my way. I have my own personal training written log but along with this I will keep a weekly online blog.
I have to say although unsure still, I am excited to get started with training, we start tomorrow, if my trainer is ok, he was not so well the other day, all the best to him. So to day is a rest day in preparation for placing the blinkers on and getting down to work, ( Oh and lets not forget the sick bucket).
