Its been some time since I last wrote about gym training, I have been going to the gym. Started running again, and managed 3 small 3 mile runs, but by number 3 my ankle was being to course trouble again.
I have been finishing off my PT with Steve, we actually been working quite hard, in fact very hard yesterday. I am not sure if he was inspired by the Olymipics or what but oh my goodness, yesterday 2 mins flat out on the versa with a 2 min rest in between 4 times at the end was a killer. For te first time ever I had to sit in the changing room and get my breath. Oh boy I had worked. We had not worked at this level since the training for the Liverpool marathon.
I have been watching the Olymipics, well bits and pieces found the opening ceremony interesting. Well done to all our sportsmen and women.
I am going to I think carry on with Mr Steve, what made me think this was when I want to have a chat with a lady who is helping me to find a job, she made me realise how far I had come in the last three years not just by doing the university course and getting my degree, but in what I had accheived with Steve, the weight loss the marathons, but more important the confidence.
